“American Pickers” star Frank Fritz dies at 60

His costar and friend, Mike Wolff, Posted on Instagram And on Facebook Tuesday, share the news. Wolfe said Fritz died Monday night.

“It is with a broken heart that I share with you all that Frank passed away last night,” she wrote.

He continued, “I am [known] Frank was more than half of my life and what you saw on TV was always what I saw, a dreamer who was as sensitive as he was funny. As much off camera as he was on set, Frank had a way of reaching the hearts of many.

Wolff did not give a cause of death, but Fritz had been hospitalized for a stroke two years before his death.

Wolf added, “Before the show we would go to places we never knew existed. We have been on countless trips and shared many miles.

She concluded her post, “I feel privileged to have been by his side as he made his final journey home. I love you buddy and will miss you so much I know you are in a better place.

Fritz has co-hosted “American Pickers” since 2010. The long-running History Channel reality series follows Fritz and Wolff as they travel across America in search of rare artifacts and treasures to sell in antique shops or keep in their personal collections.

The History Channel and “American Pickers” producers Cineflix Productions told The Post in a joint statement Tuesday: “We are saddened to share that our friend and beloved member of the History Channel and American Pickers family, Frank Fritz, passed away on Sept. 30, 2024. Frank has been leading American Pickers for over a decade. Filmed above.

Their statement continued, “We will always remember the ‘bearded charmer’ and his endless search for vintage motorcycles and bikes. Our thoughts are with Frank’s loved ones at this difficult time. He will be deeply missed.”

In July 2022, it was Wolff who again shared the news of Fritz’s stroke.

“I have been very personal over the past year with Frank’s life and the journey he has gone through,” Wolff wrote at the time.

“There have been a lot of comments about me and Frank’s friendship and the show, but now is not the time to set the record straight. Now is the time to pray for my friend.
