'Cadyshack' and 'Tron' star Cindy Morgan dies at 69

Cindy Morgan, the actress best known for her role as the blonde bombshell in the hit 1980s movie “Cadyshack,” has died at the age of 69, officials said.

Morgan is best known for turning the title of the 1980 comedy hit Golf Club Floozy Lazy Underall with the legendary Bill Murray, Rodney Dangerfield and Chevy Chase.

He also starred in the 80s sci-fi film “Tron”.

A representative from the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office confirmed to Fox News on Saturday that the actress died of natural causes “a few days ago.”

Morgan's roommate allegedly called the police to their Lake Worth Beach home on December 30, 2023, when he returned from a vacation trip. According to TMZ.

She knocked on the door, got no answer, and told police she smelled a strong odor coming from inside. Police found Morgan dead in her room, apparently without suspicion, TMZ reported.

In 1982, Morgan starred alongside Jeff Bridges as Dr. Laura Baines in “Tron” and as computer programmer Yori in “Cadyshack” as the flirtatious concubine of a country club president.

Before she hit the big screen, the Chicago native graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in communications. According to his IMDB bio.

Morgan anchored the news at a local television station in Rockford and spun records at a radio station before moving to Los Angeles, where she starred in Irish Spring television commercials.

“Kadyshack” was his first screen role.

Morgan has also appeared on many television shows over the years including “The Love Boat,” “Bring 'Em Back Alive,” “The Fall Guy,” “The Larry Sanders Show,” “Under Suspicion” and more.
