Heavy, wet snow, wintry mix forecast

A storm will bring snow, a wintry mix and rain to New Hampshire on Wednesday and Thursday. It will be relatively calm ahead of the storm, with a mix of sun and clouds Monday with a few spotty showers and highs in the 40s and 50s. The National Weather Service warns and bulletins that clouds will thicken Tuesday, however, for a messy, long-lasting storm. Much of New Hampshire could see wet snow and a wintry mix Tuesday night or Wednesday morning into early Thursday. >> INTERACTIVE RADAR Given the uncertainty in the storm's track and intensity, it's too early to say exactly how much snow will fall by region, but higher elevations look favorable for more snow and inland areas could see significant amounts of snow. Depending on the track of the storm, a wintry mix of rain is likely over southern and coastal parts of the state. In addition to confusing travel conditions, the storm will also bring strong winds and some power outages. Clouds will thicken Tuesday, however, with a chaotic, long-lasting storm.

Much of New Hampshire could see wet snow and a wintry mix Tuesday night or Wednesday morning into early Thursday.

Depending on the track of the storm, a wintry mix of rain is likely over southern and coastal parts of the state.

In addition to confusing travel conditions, the storm will also bring strong winds and some power outages. Travel will be more difficult from late Wednesday to early Thursday.

After the storm, light rain is likely on Friday, with conditions gradually improving over the weekend.
